Pick Up Puppy at the Farm

This is, of course, always the best option for buying a new puppy. It allows the new owner to see the environment the puppy was raised in, meet the breeders, and meet the sire and dam. We encourage all new owners who live close enough to come out to the farm to visit the puppy starting when they are 5 weeks of age. And we encourage a farm pick up.

Farm Address: 606 US Highway 14A East Lovell, WY

We have also arranged to meet new owners within a close distance if we have a few puppies to deliver to a certain area.

Fly with the Puppy

Most airlines allow you to fly with a puppy. Another option for picking up your new puppy is to fly into an airport near the farm, we will meet you there with your puppy and then you can fly home with the puppy in the cabin under the seat in front of you.

We have had new owners do this successfully. There are a few things to consider:

Have the Puppy Shipped Cargo by an Airline

This is a new option for us, but as we have looked into it, seems a very humane way for pets to travel as long as precautions are taken. The following outlines information concerning the shipment of a pet by airline cargo.

PLEASE NOTE! After having multiple shipments under our belt, we have realized that the airline weather restrictions sometimes make it hard for us to ship in the summer and winter months. Our summers can get up to the 100s and winters easily below zero at times. In order to not have too many disappointed customers, we will only consider shipping a puppy by cargo in the months of March-May and September-November. This is also for our own travel concerns as we are located 1.5 hours from either airport and winter road conditions might limit our travel capabilities.

Some airlines have lifted weather restrictions, but of course, the cost is higher for the puppy's travel.

We also need to look into flight availability for each new owner as our nearest airports have limited flight options for puppies. Please contact us early on if you want your puppy shipped so we can look into the travel arrangements. We do not want to disappoint anyone, but we cannot guarantee shipping will be available.

Airline Information

We only ship via airlines who have reputable pet shipping programs. Shipping pets can be restricted by weather conditions. Shipping price is determined by the weight of the puppy and crate, and the size of the crate. Distance does not determine the cost. Other information:

Cost to Ship a Puppy by Freight

It will be approximately $425 - $600 (in addition to the cost of the puppy) to ship a puppy cargo. The airline price varies by size and weight, not by destination, and we will not know the exact price until we take the puppy in for the flight. The airline's price at booking will be charged to the new owner and is due at 6 wks. Any differences will be reconciled after shipment. The other charges for the crate, paperwork and handling would be due to us by the time the puppy is 6 wks old as well. This allows us time to make travel arrangements for your new puppy and acclimate them to their crate.
